“What were you two doing earlier?” Carol Anne asked as they all sat down for lunch. ∞
“Be prepared to suffer my wrath,” Whitney said to Tommy when they were back in the arena. She was laying out there sweating and panting like she was running a marathon!”
“Well,” Tommy said trying to think of an excuse. It wasn’t as if the chair were sitting on top of the floor, but a part of it. The part of you that wanted to win and the part that drove you to strive to become better at whatever it was that you were doing.
